Id have to go with Maserati on this. Tesla build quality is indeed crap. They can’t even get the damned doors to work right. They are very poorly designed just to be different, and those differences make the vehicles prone to failure. It’s like they intentionally wanted to make them worse.

Look I know this is Teslopnik and making fun of anything coming from Italy is the norm but, Fedeli is not wrong here.

First, they are not wrong.

I realize that Jalopnik has a team of writers dedicated Tesla/Musk & boring electric cars in general but I gotta tell ya...I’m soooooo sick of it all! I like gas. Cars that burn stuff and smell bad. Sorry fellas but I’m on Team Maserati.

For me I love Tesla and it’s mission, but I love the quirky weirdness of the BMW i3. I like that it has a carbon fibre monocoque, is rear wheel drive only, and is actually really great to drive. I like I can get a range extender should I need it, and it is slightly more premium than a Volt or a Nissan, both of which

I’m with Maserati in this one, everybody is trying to compete with Tesla instead of just focus on their own product. Stop trying to be them, just be yourselves but electric this time.

Yeah they’re going to improve the fit and finish on the higher volume “cheap” version.

Why doesn’t someone do a slantnose kit for the 996? Get rid of the fried egg headlights and get pop-ups instead? All on a 996 C2 that can be had for like $25k? How is this not a win-win-win?

spiritual successor of the 935?

Comes down to this: Max understood that he was in the wrong, and Daniel was real close. Held up Vettel for the fact that at least one Red Bull would probably have good position. His thinking worked out fine, and he’s probably getting tons of props at Red Bull today.

The time penalty against Seb feels like direct retaliation for his (honestly correct) shot at Whiting. The notion that his situation is worthy of a harsher penalty than that handed to verstappen in the first place is absurd enough already before factoring in that the incident with Ricciardo wouldn’t have even happened

Nope, I’m right there with you. ANd fuck the FIA for giving Vettel a 10 second penalty and Ves only 5. The same infraction but Vettel gets 10 because he was frustrated that Ves didn’t get any penalty. Oh and let’s not forget that Verstappen ignoring the radio like a child in a temper tantrum happened first....

How are we going to charge the batteries? Solar power? That can’t work for all of the people all of the time. I’m not saying it’s a bad concept, I’m just saying I’m not sure building battery factories should be the focal point of funding for aiding developing nations.

I’m not even really a Vettel fan (doubly so since I don’t like Ferrari), but this was a garbage decision.

Thank you.

Him and the dilligaf Alonzo/Button Hondas are the best part of F1 right not.

Italian style Vettel is the best Vettel

Seb would have never been in that position had Whiting ordered Verstappen to give up the position immediately. I feel bad for him, but at least he got some free champagne I guess.

I’m relatively new to F1, so forgive me if it’s not a common opinion, but I’d love to punch Max Verstappen in the face. The kid seems like a little piece of shit. He’s is 19 years old and has already had rules named after him? Yes he’s good, I’ll give him that, but I think he needs one or two swift kicks. Him and that
