I teach community college. Years ago, we had diversity in our classrooms like you would not believe. I also had many Muslim students. (This was pre-9/11.) The experience was marvelous, to say the least.

What got Nixon into trouble wasn’t firing anyone. It was that his reputation was dragging down republicans who were coming up for re-election. Getting rid of him was their only viable strategic move.

Peculiar that when Clinton spoke to Lynch, Trump tweeted that it was “obstruction of justice.” Sure sounds like he knew exactly what that means, even before he was President.

If you look at Trump’s budget, his “solution” to helping with the opioid epidemic is to build more prisons. Probably private ones in which he has stock.

He wasn’t impeached for that. He was impeached for lying under oath about it. But it was still consensual, which is not against the law.

I’m tempted to jump on the “don’t publicize what you’re doing” bandwagon, but I also think this is just how kids are these days. I think it would just be normal for her to go to Instagram with it; it’s simply what they do.

I don’t think anyone’s comparing per se what she did to the historical racist shit done regarding Obama. Rather, we’re saying that the right didn’t get a fuck about something that extreme and very real; yet they give a fuck about something this absurd and clearly faked.

I don’t think this will amount to anything. Yes, I think the lot of them are guilty. Yes, I think a ton of evidence will emerge to show it.
