I’m dating myself, but I saw “A New Hope” right after its original release. One of the more enjoyable moments (okay, there were no non-enjoyable moments) was when they first saw the Millenium Falcon. Given how advanced this new movie technology was for the audience at the time, we all saw it and were amazed. But…

Under Bush and Obama, we didn’t have a single successful terrorist attack on domestic soil by any outside entity. Not one. It wasn’t broke; why did we suddenly need to fix it? Is something coloring their judgement?

Here’s a novel idea: Turn your network into a shining example of what true journalism and genuine values out to be. You’d initially lose your current audiences, but in the long run, you’d probably boost viewership and sponsorship once the majority of everyone else realizes that you’re what they really want and need.…

Ya, don’t get too comfortable. Jared and Ivanka are likely far more problematic in the big scheme of things. There are plenty of articles out there by now that tell us why. (John Oliver also recently had a good discussion on that.)

You are not so entitled because the different monies are earmarked for different people and different uses. Some tax money goes to everyone; some goes to specific groups, agencies, or people. Now try asking an intelligent question.

What good does it do to get more Democrats into Congress if they’re still going to vote with and like Republicans? That’s his logic? People find that appealing?

I grew up strict German Catholic via the even more strict Baltimore catechism. It owned me for years. So much so, that I became a raging drug addict in my teens and early 20s.
