I do blame the consumers when they don’t choose between two candidates. Voting is strategic. We get people like Trump when people vote with their emotions instead of their brains. Most of the time, you don’t get candidates you like. Hell, I once had to vote for Dukakis. But you have to think about the big picture

“I’m, like, an ethical person.”

The timing of this is too perfect. Thank you, U.S. intelligence agencies!

“I did not have relations with that Russian!”

They won’t impeach. That’s too messy and too much of a stain on their reputation. What they might do is remove him for mental illness, Alzheimer’s, etc. That way, they create sympathy and have a new poster boy. “Isn’t it sad when [insert desired diagnosis here] befalls so many millions of Americans? You can take the girl out of the trailer park . . .

Seriously, can civil war just be officially declared already so we can get on with it?

What other group has this dishonor?

“. . . IF Wall St./executives were not so thirsty for absurd profit levels . . .”

For clarity, they will NOT impeach! Republicans don’t want that stain on their reputation; and they won’t go after any of their own. Period.

He won’t be impeached. There’s no way the Republicans will allow that stain on their reputation (whatever that may mean). The 25th Amendment does, however, allow a President to be removed due to, say, mental illness.

Bannon sits at the head of the table? I’m not entirely surprised. But Bannon sits at the head of the table!?

Eh, I’m sure the marketplace will straighten it all out by itself.

He should have talked to me first. I’m, like, a smart person.

He won because nearly 70 million Americans weren’t “moved” by Hillary Clinton. Whatever that means. Americans now “think” with their feelings instead of their brains.

The only part of the economy they care about is the part that benefits them, right now. They’re engaged in a major cash grab. They could care less if the economy tanks once they’ve secured whatever it is they want (or become convinced that they’re immune to the effects of a bad economy).
