I watch Totoro with the Lurkling nearly every weekend. Her choice. Sometimes she picks Ponyo instead.

If it isn't, I'm pretty sure we've all been playing it wrong.

The nuns were all Blairite plotters trying to overturn Jeremy's massive democratic mandate to turn the Labour party back into the pawn of Zionist neoliberals.

Mmmn. Yes. Now let us never speak of it again.

I haven't seen Quantum of Solace, but this comment was enough to make me confuse her with Rosamund Pike.

Well same question then, but about the people who didn't turn out in 2016. If pointing out that Trump's a bigot and that voting for him, or not voting against him, is supporting or acquiescing to bigotry didn't persuade the median eligible-voter-who-bothered [ETA: in swing states] in the last election, what makes you

You get one vote, same as everyone else (apart from the people who have been disenfranchised, of course). You're only responsible for the way you use your one vote, and you bear no responsibility whatsoever for how other members of whatever cohort you belong to (or identify with) happen to use theirs.

That's all well and good, but how are you going to persuade them to vote your way next time?

Everything's coming up Xanderpuss!

You posted it first, but in a reply to a later comment. So Xanderpuss is going to get way more upvotes than you.

I'm only now getting around to Fringe Seasons 4 & 5, and this comment gave me a sad.

Thanks. We-ll, NieR was already in my queue, of course. How long does it take to play though (including multiple endings?)

This game is going somewhere near the top of my queue.

In ME2 I managed to take most of the Renegade choices while still avoiding the ones which were unbelievably stupid (why, for the love of bob, would I possibly support Morinth?)

I kind of just wanted to see if I could actually win it. Also, the fact that I'm playing through this game so very slowly (seven hours in the last two weeks) meant that I was quite happy to skip the plot forward another hour or so.

About five minutes into the first mission in the first game, Renegade Shep meets a scientist who's having a tough time handling being attacked by the Geth, and punches him.

Dragon Age: Origins update:

I'm glad someone's genuinely enjoying MEA, and I too hope the general reception won't kill the franchise. (Even if it's going right to the bottom of my queue of games I'll eventually try to get around to).

It took them three games, but I thought Renegade choices worked reasonably well in ME3 to make Shepard a kind of "victory at any cost" type.
