I don't really know how GPAs work*, but I don't think I ever scored higher than a 2ii (a pretty mediocre grade - basically a "C") in any organic chemistry module throughout my degree. Even in the third year, when I actually started applying myself.
You know, the main reason I come here each week is to marvel at all the people with far more interesting lives than mine.
On the leg hair genetics thing; my lower legs are almost completely bald. There's some patchy hair on the inner-front, just below the knee, but that's about it.
I'm not connected on Facebook to anyone I don't like, and the overwhelming majority of my friends on there (as in real life) are moderate-to-liberal in outlook.
I think this may be the first column where I've agreed with all Dan's advice.
I don't know what you mean.
We ran that same joke into the ground here in the TVCC Buffy reviews.
Less facetiously (though as a S6 defender), yeah I agree I'd like to see interviews with actors from earlier in its run. Especially the guys who played The Master and The Mayor.
On a tangentially related point - the thing which bothers me most about the early Buffy stills / promo shots being used in these articles is how young Tony Head looks. I've now reached the stage of my life where I'm noticing how I'm about the same age as the substitute father-figure in a teen/YA show.
You're only saying that because you weren't in it very much.

Oh, yes, good point. I'm definitely not going to take issue with anything on Purple Rain.
Did Prince write things all in lower case? I really didn't know that.
Ha!
Restless is my favourite too! Especially in the context that Whedon ended each season with possible cancellation in mind; so this episode all about psychologically where the characters stand at that point, how they've grown as people and how they face the future, could have been the series end.
Maybe they're assuming that any new account which manages to be instantly annoying is probably Grey Man.
Ok, so do we know whether this person deleted their own posts, or was s/he flagged and banhammered? Because although they clearly weren't the sharpest tool in the box, it's not like s/he was going around threatening people or being racist, misogynistic etc.
Uh, you stole this LtM idea from me and posted it eight hours earlier than I did. And phrased it better. You bastard.
The "Intro to BtVS for the Non-Specialist" episode should be "Lie to Me". It's early-ish in the series, doesn't rely on knowing a lot of background about the characters, and has Themes. If they don't get anything out of it, BtVS probably isn't for them.
