Yep. When you look closer at a lot of this shit it turns out to be comprised of white genocide/supremacy, just like every other part of republicanism that isn’t oligarchy trying to maintain its cashflow.

I’ll bite: what’s grosser than possible accumulated mold and algae with dust bunnies mixed in for good measure? Oh, and remember, to get there you have to get yourself dusty as well because you have to pull the fridge out to access it.

ONT is not Ontario, Canada. It’s Ontario, California, which is in San Bernardino County. It would make no sense to have a single airport for Ontario, Canada, as it is larger than several US states.

Honestly, I don’t think they hate women -- but they do not believe in anything they don’t understand, and women are understudied.

A lot of the time when you “delete” information from websites, it just goes into a table with a flag “isDeleted,” or a timestamp in a “deleted_datetime” -- it’s not gone, it’s just flagged. I would not trust Twitter not to share information that users deleted, especially if a bunch of folks try to do it en masse.

Closest I can come is the following:

It’s always too soon to talk about banning guns. It’s apparently never too soon to dehumanize victims.

This wasn’t the same car or driver, but about a month ago I was a witness to a hit and run on Queens Boulevard at 46th. Dude in an SUV with an obfuscated license plate sideswiped a teenager/younger 20-something on a motor scooter. The driver got out, gaslighted the kid about how it was actually _his_ fault, stuck

Fuck, man. I feel bad about wobbling my G-cups around my Queens apartment without a top on when it’s 95F out; I _wish_ I could get away with being out and about with no bra in September.

Did people get this prior to the legalization of weed? I mean we’ve all known stoners who are high all the time [hello, friends of mine who went to art school].

What is the rate of incidence of this? Is this a real thing? Why wasn’t it happening previously?

That’s an association study and the article you cite itself suggests that the underlying cause of the poor health outcomes may be lack of sleep at night, not napping per se. They’re not suggesting a causal link between napping and having a stroke.

Christ. “Reliable enough” as a diagnostic criterion for whether to prescribe a medication like PreP seems like a sure-fire way to prevent minority communities from being able to access it.

I 100% concur. Don’t just tell folks “you won’t get it right if you try.” Tell them what needs to be in it. So frustrating.

I’ve been here on Jez for probably over a decade now. I continue to be greyed. I’m not even sure if you’ll get to read this, because of how messed up Kinja has become, but man do I wish I understood the vagaries of becoming ungrey.

Off topic but -- SNS didn’t happen again, huh.

It really seems like this site might be on its way out -- if anyone has suggestions on where the folks who used to frequent Jez have gone, I’m all ears. There’s less and less content, and the community feels pretty empty these days....

You know egg yolks are also full of lecithin, right? That’s why they’re used to emulsify fat and water in ice cream, for instance...

hm. So is SNS just gone now?

How much does public transit advertising cost? Because I think we could crowdsource an ad with a QR code that links to info about abortion pills and put it in busses and subways across the nation if we tried.

Fun fact: in Canada, “DiGiorno” is branded as “Delicio.
