I'm sure there are lots and lots of internet sites that don't pay any attention to Seth McFarlane shows.

"Crime Doctor sounds like someone you go to when you get injured in a crime"

Not in the main story. Angel does get in a clothes destroying fight in one of the back-up pieces.

Jei vs. the Turltes & Usagi you say? I'll have to remember to look for that next week.

Got the Savage Dragon #225 100 page special issue. Which has BOTH Mr. Glum and Darklord AND Freak Force AND the whole Dragon family AND at least one person foolishly taking Dragon blood for super-powers and exploding all SPLUT style.

Sadly the Miami Vice comic and the new Grrl Scouts titles have both shown me that I no longer care for Mahfood.

Its pretty much always on the creative team that is doing the adaptation. I mean Stokoe's Godzilla and Aliens stuff is great, but I've seen plenty of average and poor tie-in stuff over the years. Though the Marvel Godzilla stuff has its own weird charms. I loved the first couple years of Buffy and Angel comics.

"Cast a Deadly Spell" is a wonderful urban fantasy noir film. The sequel wasn't as good, but was ok.

Doom Patrol, Damned, Lumberjanes, Saga and the finale for Shutter.

I probably did vote for her if she was McCain's opponent during his last election. Then again I find pretty much every R-candidate in our state so toxicly evil that I'd probably vote Zombie Ladmo as long as he had a D attached.

Urgh. McCain's fucking bullshit call-out speech. Still so angry. Like flames. Flames inside my head.

I was going to call foul on your choice, but tENG came out in Dec. 2000; so even if you argue that the century starts on year x001 it would have been in the theaters still in Jan. '01. Well played Potter, well played.

Hadn't realized until this review and learning the name of the lead that the "Midnight, TX" books were a spin-off from Harris' "Harper Connelly" mystery series.

I don't think anything can embarrass O'Donnell after Batman & Robin.

A Wizard of Speed and Time

Bob was the young guy/old guy comics writing partnership one wasn't it?

Now you've spoiled their sweeps surprise crossover.

Television reviews are all typed an 1970s electric typewriters and delivered to the A.V. Club offices via roller skating urchins.

Slight week; Invincible #138 continues the ultra-violent Final Viltrumite War ending storyline. Aliens: Dead Orbit #3 is just James Stokoe drawing space stations and xenomorphs and is always the best. And Bitch Planet: Triple Feature #2 gives another three BP world building stories.

There is a new Damned coming out that I'd like to see more attention given. And I'd like to have seen more about the grand failed effort that was Island.
