Other than a reread of Kate Beaton's Never Learn Anything From History no new or old trades for the week. For floppies this week was:
Invincible #137 with the Earth Viltrumites drawn into the war against Thragg. And then Robot pulls yet another supreme dick move.

Looks like Frishman's last acting role was a Designing Women spot in 1989, though he's still alive.

Angela Bassett Waller or Viola Davis Waller?

Whedon is certainly crashing from outsider-internet darling to mainstream-internet pariah. Of course the money has got to better making adequate Ultron movies than cult favorite space-westerns.

The last movie showed the military getting involved in the dino game and Jurassic War is right there for the taking. Stupid movie studio will probably only make half-a-billion dollars now.

I'd also say go with "Cryptonomicon" before tackling the heavier "Anathem". Maybe break them up with the lighter (and much shorter) "Zodiac".

Regular mix of novels and comics for the month so far. Finished up the Darth Vader collections from Marvel/Star Wars. Burned thru Charlie N. Holmberg's "the Paper Mgician/the Glass Magician/the Master Magician" trilogy.
