Actually found my comics shop's new location this week so big haul of two weeks worth of singles. Plus the arrival of Faith Erin Hicks (with colors by Jordie Bellaire) the Nameless City vol.2: the Stone Heart. I've loved FEH since way back in the Demonology 101 days so a new book from her is always a treat.

I'd say the B:tAS written & Hamill voiced Joker did the best job of mixing the goofy Clown Prince of Romero, the nihilist sociopath of Ledger & the criminal psycopath of Nicholsan.

Its a Monkey King riff except with added Mighty Whitey/We Need a White Guy mixed in.

JC's Vampires loses a lot from its adaptation from the book Vamire$, including all the stuff with the Pope and the Catholic Church. But it does keep the sequence where the Boss Vampire surprises all the partying vampire hunters at their motel and just casually DESTROYS them.

Hopefully this week my dvr will actually tape "Riverdale" instead of saying it did and instead recording "Supernatural".
