That blurb about the Kingkiller Chronicles is annoying. The only comparison with GoT is that they're both in the fantasy genre. As for the rest, since when is the person in charge of the music for a future adaptation of a book a valid reason for buying the book?

Good luck. It would probably work better as a tv show with GoT level funding.

A fine artist? Not sure I'd go that far.

Please no. Surely she has something better to do that will keep her busy and well away from any movies I actually plan on seeing.

Only? Only? $15k for a few hours of "work"?

I'll inspect that from afar… and by inspect I mean glancing at it trying to decide if I need more fruit in my diet.

Unintentional but considering I grew up with those comics I'm pretty sure that was the inspiration. :)

I know right? It's like blowing your nose and not looking into the tissue after.

That occasional splash back is like a little fist bump with your toilet.

It's pretty dang pedantic. In all the recipe books I've read, and the restaurants I've worked in, I've never seen range temps as anything other than low/med/high.

Aren't most ranges designed with only a high/med/low dial (or maybe a 1-10)? demanding temperature specific recipes seems terribly pedantic.

You take that back about spinach!

See my earlier comment. Clearly the phrase "gloriously dumb" is missing the mark with some people.

That's kind of what I meant by gloriously dumb. It's on a level where you just have to ask "who thought that was a good idea?".

That whole cluster was annoying as hell.

You have to admit though, it's gloriously dumb. :)

Thank you. Your pedantry is much appreciated although I would have preferred it if I was the one who got to do it.
