I've found that the stuff with Pigpen holds up really well. That dude had soul.

I would add Garage Days Vol. 1 to that Holy Trinity. Had I had it on cassette, I might have convinced a lot more townies of the awesomeness of punk and hardcore.

My god, yes. It was hard to straddle the line between punk and metal in my suburb, but Metallica led to me playing Hüsker Dü for the heshers — a couple of them dug it, most couldn't deal with the fact that it wasn't "fitting the rules".
