..... how do bowls make money again?
That would just fasttrack the electric cars for the Germans, the US would drag its feet as usual, and US automakers would miss the boat. And the collective lobbying would push the EV tax credit back into prominence.
I’m for it.
Context is probably important here. Gee, why would this not be as controversial in 2011 as in 2018/19?
What could possibly be different?
Could it be there was an actual, unimagined african-american goddamn president in office and racism seemed to be a fading force limited to the coddled decaying minds of old white men…
Rauf was back in 1996. 22 years ago, wow.
Duke as a bogeyman and subject of irrational scorn and hatred, an illusion particularly enthusiastically peddled by this site for cheap clicks and story wordcount fattening, has always been nothing but convenient marketing and lazy sports writer fake dramatic undercurrent.
That this story, written by a sportswriter,…
How the league lets the best basketball town in the universe have it's signature franchise be so incompetently owned is beyond me. It probably costs the league 10% revenue a year.
“Tell my wife I said hello”
Manning probably doesn’t have the time to do game preparation on a regular basis.
Sure it may have been slightly self-promoting, but I really liked Witten talking about the Walter Payton award.
MacFarland at least tries really hard, and while his TV block from earlier in the season was terrible, he does get into the feel of the game better than any other sideline-ish reporter has. I like when Witten…
Scoring and yards requires a lot of flags in the sevondary, which won’t be predictable or consistent. So offenses and defenses are totally different on a game by game basis.
The N is a secret swastika. You just have to change where the upbar and downbar stick out...
So who is the good guy in this? Or is it just bad and ugly all around?
Hey look, it’s a model S. Oh, I’m sorry, TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Totally. Got that Porsche badge.
Unlike, apparently, Urban Meyer.
At this point collusion is a given. There’s no way someone wouldn’t have taken a flyer without an edict of banning/prohibition from the league office or the owners collectively. Writers should simply assume it but with an “alleged” no-sue-me qualifier.
At this point, you can probably make a recurring semi-weekly…
Well, it doesn’t involve a woman, probably was a white man, so we can believe the black athlete in the case. I guess. Maybe. After we get clicks.
The official was in the wrong. If he is in the second row, he is not that important, he should not be standing. Rip on the knicks / nets all you want, but that is an expensive seat and the ticketholder shouldn’t be obstructed by someone not immediately involved in the game.
Is someone traumatized by some previous tug…
There would be way too many MLB slots full of guys holding on too long, and probably doing the sauce to stay on a roster. Maybe I’m wrong, the 20 years might be so hard that the pretenders all fall out at 15-16 seasons.
You’d need a 50% games played in metric maybe.
I think what happened was a run blitz got pantsed. The Jags were going for a safety by basically rushing everyone into the gaps, but if someone gets by the blitzers... well there’s not much to stop them.
The lack of pursuit was notable, but I don’t think anyone on the Jags thought Henry had the speed to do what he did.
You can’t tell because Henry is so tall he doesn’t look like he’s going that fast.
But he’s going really fast, per the 21mph stat in the writeup. Jacobs is probably running so hard just to stay with him that he can’t use any strength to actually hit or tackle him. He may also just be trying to slow him down, but the…
