Rather than being enforced by the state, the law is enforced by private citizens, who are encouraged to file lawsuits against people they suspect of obtaining, providing, or otherwise facilitating the procedure after the six-week mark.

On a more serious note, I suspect these Mensa members didn’t realize nor calculate that there would be a revenue loss to their Ebenezer Scrooge idea. The district will not get funding for food they stopped serving.
