Y’all do ok in getting jobs in front of the camera if you pass as white, but you just don’t play your actual ethnicities.

In the 2000s I suggested racialicious.com to a friend b/c it dealt with the issues mixed people deal with. She looked at it and rejected it because the 2 people who ran it both had a white parent. She is Jamaican-American w/ a Chinese Jamaican mom and a Black Jamaican dad.

Both men and women get this advice. Straight women from my ethnic group are taught to aim for a mate who is 1) male and 2) breathing. You’re not alone in this.

You need to read about racial stereotypes. Just because you are unaware that black people have been compared to non-human apes and black women have been defeminized for centuries, does not mean it does not exist.

Too often, discussing racism w/ unaware people is like a first grader and a paleontologist discussing dinosaurs.

If you prick her, does she not bleed? Strong Black women (TM) feel pain, too.

Just because she’s an athlete does not make her incapable of tenderness.

As a black person, I am surprised it took me this long to hear a comment about being able to “handle” her.
