I live in St. Louis, about 1.5 miles from Busch Stadium. Regardless of dress code, I have little to no desire to visit Ballpark Village. (Don't judge me if I'm there tomorrow...FREE THIRD EYE BLIND CONCERT??? #swoon)

St. Louisans are only comfortable with black people on the fields. Or working in them.

Preach. I lived in KC for three years and the first thing I thought of when beginning to read this post was "sounds an awful lot like P&L..."

Have they since dropped that dress code, though? I live in NYC now but the last time I was in KC, I went to Power & Light and it appeared as though they dropped it. What I'm

Do you seriously believe that a bunch of white guys sat around and said "you know, we need to get rid of the darkies. Lets have a dress code. That'll keep them out!"

As a native of the STL area, I can say you are likely on point.

Guess this means that no STL Cards fan will be there. What's next? People with big beer bellies are out too? If yes, then that takes out all of St. Louis

But what do all those Cardinals fans wear during playoff games? Oh. You wouldn't know.

Bouncer: That looks like an excessively long shirt you have on.

Ha! Yes! People like that just seem....fake? For some reason, when people talk endlessly about how perfect their relationship is, I never quite believe it. I always assume that the people who are happiest are those who don't talk about it because — why would they need to? It's self evident, and because it is

Fucking idiots. Everyone from St. Louis knows that rules aren't supposed to be written.

Yes, what's ridiculous about restricting sports apparel at a fucking sports entertainment district?

I had enough savings to last a couple months

I don't know if I agree, at least for myself. I don't really care that the myth of her perfect life has been shattered, because I already knew it was a sham. I already knew that what she is able to do was not because she is better than me, but because she is way richer and has way more free time on her hands than me.

"I'm sorry, I just can't act like somebody who makes $20,000 a year." The end.

I love reading those articles about what to do if you suffer from allergies. Particularly when they say shit like, avoid going places that will set off your allergies. Oh, you mean EVERYWHERE. Thanks, that's helpful.

I'm having a cynical day, but I really don't believe that legislation is coming. The vast majority of damage done to the climate is by corporations, and they seem to have politicians deeply in their pockets. And the corporations are worth enough money that I don't think that line where damage from disasters is going

Yeah I'm completely convinced that only things like this and more super storms are going to make people care. Most people are way too self-centered to give a shit about polar bears and coral reefs. When all the storms and forest fires get too costly, then all of a sudden we're going to see meaningful legislation put

#climatechanged

This is not really a parting shot, this is just the next on the ongoing pattern of bullshit that will continue to happen because (spoiler alert) climate change is a real thing.
