I feel the same about synchronized swimming. I wish there could be more of a dance element than the robotic moves.

Despite living through the earlier era of crop tops, I am tempted to join its comeback. Why is it ok for women to show cleavage in certain social situations past a certain age but not legs or stomach? My only cleavage is butt cleavage, and that's not appropriate to show in public.

Or for an analogy for another species, an egg is not a chick. That's why vegetarians eat eggs.

From an outsider's perspective, it seems the fashion industry has 2 basic types of POC models (1) half their family is white they look as if that's the case or (2) super-ethnic, whatever that means. It's part of the reason why western Asian models don't look like Asian models in Asia, or why models in black…

Did they statistically control for whether a woman was in a stable relationship? Whether her life was high-drama as defined by researchers?

Just film a movie about what, or rather who, L.A. really looks like, and there you go.

As a dark-skinned black woman, I was proud for Mindy Kaling to reach her level of success and fame because it's not easy for dark-skinned Indian women in the media.
