Epiphones, even the cheaper ones are a good start. I just got my hands on an Epiphone Wilshire Pro in TV Silver for under 300 bucks. This guitar is sweet in that you have the ability to switch from humbuckers to single coils. Anything from the Squier Classic Vibe series is super nice too, but I found them a lil too…
