If you find yourself engrossed in the dialogue and character interactions, then yes, it is well worth doing everything. All quests have spoken dialogue, often some have some kind of player input to affect the results, so if you see a !, do it.
This game is an absolute pleasure and should be the standard every open world game made in the future goes by.

Not really. Skyrim gets really repetitive after a while because you do the exact same things over and over again. There aren't really any fetch quests in Wild Hunt, and those that do exist are hidden by excellent storytelling. Can't really compare the two.

I was having trouble with the first bear I saw in White Orchard but then I started using Ingi and that did massive damage. Bears be flammable in this game.
I've encountered them 2 levels above me, 7 when I was 5, and had no problems. Really slow moving and easy to dodge.
