I agree with you with one caveat. If your house/apartment is old enough that you’re still using 80s era or earlier dimmer switches and fixtures, it is probably worth it to buy a new dimmer switch and throw that baby in there. Every apartment I’ve lived in over the last 15 years I’ve swapped out the dimmer switches…
I feel like Hoopla and Overdrive are pretty much a vote for the same thing. Basically, whichever one your library happens to support the best will have the best catalogue.
Agreed. Not every library is on point with it, but it’s free, it’s based through your library card, and the Overdrive app itself is really good the once you get past the short learning curve. The books also auto-return at the end of the borrow period, so no late fees.

This is why I usually default to Tomboy X boxer briefs or Undersummers. I live in a place that doesn’t get super hot, but is always kinda windy, so I prefer the option that gives me the added benefit of helping keep my undercrackers UNDER. It also minimizes the bare-thigh-to-bus-seat situation, which is always good.
I really do think there is some kind of personal chemistry or skin type thing that goes into this. I’m a Monostat girl, it works better than anything else I’ve tried. Body Glide is OK, but it gets really tacky and stops working after an hour or two. My bestie has found the opposite to be the case.

So with you on that. Any time I need to travel and can’t count on there being decent soap I bring a travel size body wash. Moving wet soap from place to place is THE WORST.
I do have liquid soap at the sink in my bathroom, but bar soap in the shower. I can’t totally say why I prefer it that way, but I know I don’t like how the sink gets all scummy from the wet bar, and it slides all over in a way that doesn’t bug me in the shower but does at the sink.
I started using a korean face wash that comes in a pot (with a wee little spatula so your grubby fingers don’t mess it up!) and I really was shocked at how much more use I got out of the same oz. volume when I could scrape out every last bit rather than relying on squeezing a tube.

Also, how do these complaint rates compare to passenger livery companies that DO use fingerprint background check. If, say, a bonded cab company in the same city uses a higher level of fingerprint check, how many complains did they get? Does it match up statistically with the checks helping to weed out potential…
They should have both here, if for no other reason that to show beyond a doubt that the bonding of drivers does actually make a difference.
