Ideally we should fix the healthcare system so those aren’t your only options. I do get what you’re saying, though, and right now that is a real big reality surrounding the issue.

I think voluntarily entering a highly structured, documented, HIPPA, FDA, MSRA, etc. compliant clinical trial where they do not charge you for an unproven procedure and the pre/post care that is reliant on said procedure is very different than “hey, if you let me use your weird thing as part of my advertising on

Or take them to the woods and point them towards the nearest gingerbread house.

Or they could have been used to register a deer killed by another hunter.

They never will, especially not now. The transplants and real estate developers love using the cabaret laws to pressure bars into essentially having to shut down from all the noise complaints so they can redevelop the lots into condos.

Also, while other exes might not be shouting from the rooftops his ex Vanessa HAS talked about his anger issues and tendency towards violence when he’s mad, even if he never turned on her specifically.

He thinks that’s a light hearted anecdote? Ugh, I knew he was skeevy, but man, it just gets worse and worse.

That sounds really good.

Man, i don’t envy your high school, in all honestly. I bet your administrators are just wondering what the hell to do about it. You want to keep the stuff because, well, you want to promote the school and schools already have so little to work with, but... that isn’t really how you want to promote.

I’m pretty sure he has some kind of ownership of it. He owns everything else associated with the name, websites, books, etc.

I think it may have something to do with Keilor having some sort of copyright on the name.

so, my mother? (love ya’ mom!)

Oh good lord. The only other use I’ve ever heard was slang in college where if something was ‘out of pocket’ it was just completely ridiculous. I have no idea where it came from or how it developed, but it was there. Other than that, yes, it means paying your own way.

That was my thought too. I’ve been in that 22-year-old’s boat and when the established boss-type wants to flirt it can feel really high pressure. Lothario might not even get it (though he’d have to be pretty hard headed not to) but she could very well feel the obligation to be nice.

If it was consensual it wouldn’t make them uncomfortable, now would it? I am not being reductionist, you are being argumentative.

Thanks for clarifying at the end there. I was desperately trying to think of a logical reason for 60 people to be in an unventilated room with trash cans for any length of time that didn’t involve the apocalypse, something highly illegal, or something highly immoral.

Yeah, every place is different and people are different. We do have meetings that can get heated, especially when it comes to the best ways to resolve production issues. They aren’t personal, but people get passionate.

Stop being reductionist. Adults getting overly familiar with their coworkers about their sex lives or other topics that make their coworkers uncomfortable is sleazy. Yes, it is.

It really isn’t. As a very general rule, especially for younger women, men who have seniority over you are generally going to be older. Of course people your own age can cross the line, no one is saying they can’t.

We used to call it “The Lecture of the Creepy Hand” at my old job because the opening slide had this young, blond woman cowering in fear from this disembodied, hairy man hand coming toward her.
