I agree, you can’t give a roommate one week notice to find a replacement, you shouldn’t do that to your boyfriend either. Talk about adding insult to injury. I mean, unless you’re cool paying double rent for at least one, probably two or three months.

I ride BART on the regular too. During non-commute hours I see dudes eating McDonalds Value Meals on the cars. Then leave the bag behind, which is the part that pisses me off.

I think that’s a good rule of thumb- would you be OK eating it in front of your boss outside of mealtimes. So yeah, candy bar, raisins, maybe chips (if you take the bag with you) etc. Non-smelling, non messy, single part foods.
