I have all my photos backed up on a month basis to their own 1TB drives that get thrown in a safe and anything that I have actually edited gets put on archival DVDs and also thrown in a safe. I have around 2-3 levels of redundancy in my storage (not including the lossless storage of RAW files on the cloud).

It is safe to say they've never killed themselves driving car.
