I think what's happening in the original picture, is light is reflecting off the trailing edge of the rear pillar, which is what is making it look more raked than in the white one I posted (which is being lit from an entirely different direction) - the reflection is always playing tricks with perspective as the rear

Also, the pics I posted are the Australian delivered model. Here's a North American variant, with the orange corners.

The pillars look identical to me, and the difference with the indicator would appear to be the result of bad video compression. There are too many similarities throughout the cars for it to be a coincidence. Those wheel covers were also found on the subsequent Accent models but did find their way on to these

The rear quarter window, fuel cap location and taillights all match up. Plus a recognise that factory spoiler.

But yeah, it's clearly a late '90's Hyundai Excel/Accent

It can't be a Sephia because the car in the image clearly has a crease on the waist line. The Sephia is just smooth all the way down.

woops, meant to respond to another user who posted an Excel/Accent hatch

You're on the right track, but it's a sedan imo with the clear indicator lenses

I was so annoyed I ditched my daily drive Toyota Corona. It had developed a massive electrical problem (wouldn't start when warm, cut out at random), so I ditched it whilst it still ran. The Mitsubishi Verada (you guys know it as a Galant) I replaced it with has been such a pain. So much complicated and expensive (not

I was at a Jap car day last year and there was a Mazda MX-5 with what I presumed was an LS1 going around the timed course. I was mesmerised.

Yeah definitely agree. The current one looks like a fat lump.

Whoa! That's a pretty big invasion of privacy! In Western Australia, (as far as I know) the best you can do is just check whether the registration is still current.

Can anyone explain to me why some people cover up their number plates when trying to sell their car? Is it purely just a privacy concern? It seems like they don't want people researching the vehicle's history/registration status before coming to view it; but that could be just my un-trusting nature.

Bought a 1982 Holden Camira for $450 when I was 15. Drove it around the Gnangara Pine Plantation (Perth, Western Australia) pretty much every second weekend. It only broke when I drove it into a massive hole and bent the front right strut. Fixed it and it was fine again.

So you read "I don't identify with homesexual culture" as "I hate gay culture"?

Absolutely perfect. I love Japanese cars, but I generally hate the excessive, and often tastelessly modified examples you see everywhere.

Yeah that photo's from a scene towards the end of Back to the Future 3.

cya Psygnosis, cheers for the original Destruction Derby and Lemmings - big part of my 90's gaming years

for fucks sake China, STOP DESTROYING THINGS

they come with a paddle shift sport auto which would make it a little more sporting than a regular auto box?
