@Gen.Grievous: The original game's default campaign was that bad.

@Dynosaulo: I'm erring on the side of caution. I think IW did do something that would get them in trouble, but not to the degree to warrant such heavy fallout from it.

@nenwavriana: That might depend on the contract. If IW breached terms, they may have forfeited any royalties formerly owed.

@chapoec: Boo! Then I'd have to pay sales tax. For me 1600 ms points will get two 800 point games, yet a $20 psn card will not get two $10 games due to tax.

@Ubersoldat19: So true. Bad PC games are wildly overrated by the gaming media. 4s and 5s need to be handed out MUCH more in this era of lazy devs.

The demo looked quite bad. They must've really pumped up the final game to say this, so my hype level has risen. =)

@Nihilexistentialist: Of course. I'm not sure the audio of Civ 1 is quite as I remember, but it takes me way back well enough.

If the opening is as awesome as Haruhi...

Great. A formal announcement it sucks even before release? No, just no. Even as a scathing critic of Sega this is nuts.

@Manly_McBeeferton: Just the superior GOTY edition. The original is discontinued and will stay $60.

@cyruss: Yeah. No 360 game since gears 1 has had a PC version made by Microsoft.

@Muckamuck: Cool. I used the "I wouldn't have it any other way." line in a comment on this site not long ago as well.

Now if I could just find the xbox or pc versions with hot coffee. they were on shelves barely a month...

@nerdydesi: Heh. I wouldn't have it any other way.

@AOClaus: Indeed. PC gamers are oblivious to the awesomeness that is anime, cosplay...

$30 less than steam, and no disc to worry about? sold already.

Lame, perhaps. But NOT easy to fix. The lack of user IDs means they had little other choice except tie games to the hardware.

@LucasFFXI: Mai and Lum? Now that is a combo.
