There's no doubt PC gaming has its issues, such as poor marketing in some ways. But "dying" isn't the right word. Even if commercial development ends, it'll still likely have independent software.

The analog-digital conversion might be a factor. Word of mouth about Wii lacking HD, could discourage new HDTV owners from buying it.
