It's just limitations of the PSP hardware. Stylistically drawn quite well.

They didn't change the laser when removing PS2 BC. So it can still physically read the discs themselves, just not execute any code on them.

Amazing ongoing support (most devs could learn wonders from it), but no thanks. I don't care for this game.
