I totally get the appeal of fiscal conservatism, or limited federal government, but when your party seems to object to your very existence as a human being, I’m not really sure how you can turn a blind eye.

That’s personally true for me. My income has steadily increased during the last ten years (yay for going in the right direction) but I haven't changed the stores I shop at or really even how much money I spend on clothes. My savings account just gets healthier or my bookshelf fills up with more books I haven't read.
