As 2018 mom of the year, I’m planning on taking my son to a Thursday night showing. Popcorn for dinner. He’ll be a little sleepy Friday at school, but PRIORITIES, people! (And I mean like a 6pm showing so we’ll be getting home when he’d normally be in pajamas, teeth brushed, book read, etc.)

I loved this. It was so random and so Tyra. After unnecessarily creating a scenario where she gets to play the thoughtful benefactor (when she could have just allowed 15 finalists from the beginning) she still had to find a way to insert her own wacky self-mythologizing into Erin’s emotional moment:

She could probably use a slapping, but Liz needed one more IMO. Acting like that other girl (Khrystyana, who seems cool), who is at this point still a complete stranger, was under some sort of obligation to listen to Liz vent HER FEELINGS (so many feelings) about how jealous she was? Giiiiirl....

But on the real... what the fugg is Tyra wearing?!?! I’m starting to think this clip is straight out of 2008!

When i tell this kind of story to almost any man they always wonder if I should have been more careful in some way 🤦🏼‍♀️

You can’t see everybody’s intentions upon first meeting/seeing them.

I’m guessing they can’t answer for at least four of those.

It’s stories like these that have made me afraid...just for a guy to like me. You just don’t know how these guys will react. Sometimes just being polite will put you in harms way. I told an 60+year old man good morning passing him in the store & held the door open for him. He said thank you & 15sec later asked me for

I like both of these men but feel this is true. Coates and West both have socialist leanings. They both feel like Democrats haven’t done enough for Black considering how loyal we’ve been all these years. Both are brilliant academics, though Coates does not have a college degree. I think it’s a generational thing too.

I tried to write something to this effect, but you did it better than I can.

A couple of unrelated points I’m too lazy to work together.

Agreed. Go in. But there are times when you can’t go ALL IN. She like, transformed into a Hotepticon.

On one hand...fight the power.

I know my inability to measure consequences just well enough to not have any social media accounts. If I rant in the bathroom to the cat, I don’t lose my job.

On the next episode of, “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong....”

Now playing

Exactly! How dare he not include Ms. Mahalia.

DONT FORGET BONE MARROW. Bone marrow is a staple in Filipino cooking and it has been marked up to high heaven aboe.

Y’all keep talking up chitlins and the next thing you know they’ll be $15/lb and gentrified within an inch (or several feet, I don’t the metrics of swine dookie shoots) of its culinary lives.
