While I certainly enjoyed decent chunks of this movie — some of the quipping made me laugh out loud, which is rare, but eventually even that got old — for the most part I thought this was just Transformers with more likeable good guys. Giant things smash buildings, good guy makes a wise crak, repeat.

Hence the symbolism of Davos having his rotten fingers cut off?

@hitmaxx @moonybattyjuicey The big Straight Edge tattoo?

One half of the lyrics of America's number one pop song reads like a crap email from a dude if you cut out the rest of it where it makes it clear it's supposed to read like a crap email from a dude who knows he was writing a crap email because he knew he was being crappy.

Well, something about this person, and you might need to look a little closer to see it, tells me they don't drink.

Hah yes, that opening scene tonight was awkballz.

A pink triangle specifically is a charity symbol? That doesn't seem to have anything to do with hedonism, a philosophy generally attributed to the "homosexual community" by people who disapprove.

Came here to say the same thing. Kind of an odd/potentially political choice. The pink triangle is very much considered the contemporary icon of "homosexuality" isn't it?

That's the best bleakly political commentary on it I've heard. Where's it from?

I found that post to be hugely annoying too. May well have ruined the show for me.

I got confused for a minute reading this and thought you were referring to Inigo that way. I almost jumped into my computer to come find you.

Because of "art" I think.

I don't remember if, when I was a teen, I felt like I couldn't enjoy a show/movie unless the people in it were exactly my age!!! I suspect not. In fact I do remember appreciating watching men do things that inspired me to want to be older.

It can be both things at once. I recognize that the way a woman dresses has no bearing whatsoever on her implied willingness to be a sex partner for any man who happens to find it appealing, and to suggest such is ridiculous, BUT, it can be difficult not to notice and become preoccupied with.

I'm by no means the gun/hunter type, but I do think there's something to the idea of "if you're going to kill it, eat it." How do prefer your zombie steaks?

Agreed. Consider a normal live human running down the street ripping the throats out of passersby with his teeth. It is morally permissible to smash his head in with a bat.

Agreed with most everything about that season ruining me as a Patriots fan and not being happy unless they were up 24, but as for being relieved by that catch? No fucking way. Still not over it. When they lose again tomorrow it will feel ten times worse. Ugh. I hate football.

Any idea how that sort of thing is not a scam? My, uh, friend wants to know.

Are people aware of the thing with 47? Pomona College and all that, and how it's become a trope in science fiction over the years? Was coming here to read about this last Fringe episode, which had a 47 reference (Jones built 47 shapeshifters), which was coming off the heels of the last Alcatraz, where the sniper kept

That makes a lot of sense. I just noticed your front door was opened so I came in and took pictures of myself in your bed. I'll post them soon. Just wanted to help you out bro.
