It felt too much like 'mythology heavy season 3' for me to enjoy it. I thought they were going back to season 1-2 with all the fun and they joked about dying and death… but now there's Aztec temples and werepanthers and people turning into teenagers.

So pissed we didn't see Ethan bottom… like come on, don't tease a m/m pairing, then add that little tidbit, without delivering on the visuals.

They've done everything right so far with the overarching feminist themes, so I'm not freaking out about the male clones until they offer me a reason to.

Yeah they tried to kill them, but the fact is every single vamp would have died if they didn't it seems to have been forgotten by everyone.
The twins were doing lawful good, killing one to save thousands/millions and stopping Traveler supremacy. Caroline and Elena were chaotic neutral at the least, evil at worst.

Since when it murder morally ambiguous? Forcing them through threats of violence is ambiguous, but straight up murder is evil.
It is exactly something Klaus would have done, and we all know that guy is 100% evil.

Josh better survive. I cannot deal with a stupid baby (who'll age
quick… just you watch) plot and love hexagons if Josh isn't there
ogling hot guys, crackin wise and failing at being a vamp.

I really (REALLY) wanted Lexi to step through from the Other Side and bitchslap Damon for being a goddamn hypocrite.
"i crafted a plan that purposely killed your absolute best friend to cover my own ass, but I'm gonna whinge and cry because you did the same to me." Except for the fact Enzo forced him and Stefan wasn't

Here's hoping Luke gets his drunkin gay flirt on next time

Another meh episode for a pretty meh season
The Enzo stuff was good, but the love triangle (+ jealous Caroline) cancelled it out. How many times can Elena and Damon have the same conversation in a season before their relationship just dies.

Ugh… boring straight couples

Bonnie needs to go Dark Willow like…. 2 seasons ago

Given that ones a minority, I'm just amazed they survived past their second episode

Why, Oh why, did the writers cast a woman of color in a role where she was be killed off immediately? Have they learned nothing.
The Travelers are another boring villain, right after Silas… and another Cure-ish storyline that takes away vampirism, cause the first one worked out so well.
