Yes I am familiar with remote play! It does work great, its nice to be able to play any PS4 game from bed/toilet or anywhere. Now granted some games support remote play better in terms of UI and controls but all games are playable, it is a Sony requirement that they are.

NEVER! The Vita is still the best handheld gaming hardware out there! I’d play a Vita any day over mobile games any day.

Sony is still putting out firmware updates, new games are still added to the store. With the whole back catalog for the vita, it is still a viable gaming device. I love mine, I’d recommend it to anyone thinking of getting one.
