It felt so fucking amazing to see Monica die. If she were my mother and I were in any of her children's stead when they saw her dead, I would have calmly said 'Good riddance' and proceeded to walk over her dead body on my way to my room—and would only be sad she hadn't died earlier.

The writer of this article fails to realise that Scotland is part of Britain, and that any Scottish accent will be, by definition, a British accent as well. SMH.

I'm actually surprised at the rating. This episode was, to me, the weakest I've seen so far (I'm yet to see the last one). It was borderline bad. Just bland and badly put together.
But then again 'Shut Up And Dance', which I consider one of the best, if not the best, Black Mirror episode ever received a B here. I

That is not the "origin" of the word "unproud", you silly, silly writer. What the dictionary provided was merely the earliest finding of the word in print, which, according to their corpus, is sometime in the 16th century.

'Now let's go; we look like we're working the corner at this point.' I think this is my new favourite line from the show.
P.S.: What if Eve's the one who died in the fire?

It's interesting that two of the best episodes of the series (the pilot and the finale) were so poorly regarded by this reviewer. The point (or lack thereof) of many of the artistic choices made on the series often seem to have gone right over his head. He's supposed to be analysing a work of art, but it often feels

I already did add something to this discussion. I corrected someone. I'm quite sure you read that. Not that that would be a requirement; people can say whatever they want in comment threads. I'm sure you know that too. (Being a smart-arse is often fun, though.)

Of course it can be two things; nobody is questioning the literal, most obvious meaning of the word 'dated'. That is why I said 'in this context'. Furthermore, I don't see how my being a pedantic wanker in any way invalidates my point; I can be both right and insufferable.

You cannot call a movie or TV show dated based on the fashion and technology. That's not what dated means in that context. Dated is supposed to be about the storyline, and the approach, and so forth. SMH. Having said that, Six Feet Under still holds up as a brilliant show, quite certainly one of the best ever made.

I'm a little disappointed by the fact that Luhrmann didn't direct the whole series. The first episode was pretty solid, and his style just really does have that punch. I was also positively impressed with how balanced things were here; sometimes his work (especially when it comes to characterisation) can get somewhat

'Cold Wind', Arcade Fire, linked to Six Feet Under.
'Transatlanticism', Death Cab For Cutie, linked to Six Feet Under.
'Lucky', Radiohead, linked to Six Feet Under.
'Breathe Me', Sia, linked to Six Feet Under.
'A Rush Of Blood To The Head', Coldplay, linked to Six Feet Under.
'Waiting', The Devlins, linked to Six Feet

This is getting out of hand. Jesus.

Re-watched 'Submarine' just tonight (hadn't seen it in a while) and was reminded of just how funny it is. One of my favourites.

'I think I enjoyed this episode way more than my wife…'
If I were your wife, I would've taken incredible offense.

I don't know whether I should be moderately scared or considerably turned on. My penis is quite confused.

Lmao. You're actually quite funny. I shall even ignore the fact you think American Beauty is shite.

You're not the first person to incorrectly address me as 'Lulz', when my name is in fact 'Luiz'. How unsettling.

I know, right? Lmao.

'American Beauty' shit? You're funny.

I guess it sure would sound better in the order you suggested, but 'Familia Supra Gallegorious Omnia' is still grammatically correct, I presume.
