That was my read of the situation too, but I’d have to go back and see if the text message graphics on screen made it clear if HulkKing was his screenname or the screenname of the person he was texting.

I’m single and in my mid thirties and found her anxiety over a promising budding relationship suddenly not texting back incredibly relatable. As far as the “high school dating guidance” the things the people in support group were saying were probably all things Jen knew already, but are those kind of things that when…
There’s no way it’s just a cameo. They led the entire announcement of the movie’s existence with Jackman’s involvement, other than the release date it’s literally the only thing we know about the movie. It would be INSANE even for Disney to kick off the entire marketing campaign of a movie by promoting something that…
F&tWS was the second MCU series after WandaVision, so if you’re saying you didn’t like any of it other than WandaVision maybe you should... stop watching?
My thought was the guy flirting with Jen was specifically expressing how he liked her *as* Jen to give himself a shot at being close to her in a private setting with non-Hulk skin, but the mysterious scientists producing bigger, scarier needles probably debunks that guess. Hopefully he was just a nice guy and a win…
Yeah, I’d be all for game devs putting out “behind the scenes” content up after the games are released, but I think it’s a little silly to demand it during development in the name of transparency.
“The Stranger is Gandalf, I’m willing to bet a reasonable sum on it. The events of the show are the beginning of his fondness for hobbits.”
Jessica Gao and the writers *correctly* identifying what was going to be said about their show by a bunch of chucklefucks regardless of what they actually did and deciding to embrace and tackle it head on has been just wonderful.
Absolutely, it’s definitely my lived experience that the closer I am to somewhere I need to be the more likely I’ll be late.
My thought is Kingpin. It didn’t really dawn on me till this episode that they’ve moved She-Hulk to LA and if she’s going to cross paths with Daredevil that means Matt Murdock either needs a reason to go to LA or Jen needs a reason to go to NYC. Kingpin attempting to steal some of She-Hulk’s blood would be a good…
I’m an episode behind, but woo boy did I think the Joker episode was a slog. I assume they need to establish Joker as they mayor for some stuff going forward, but man the whole bit of “Look the Joker is being a domestic dad and every time you think he snapped, NOPE he’s still just a dad! Isn’t that FUNNY?” just did…
“This felt like half an episode - 23 minutes then that’s it!”
Wow you’re so cool *swoon*
When it was announced he would be appearing in She-Hulk some reporter asked Benedict Wong about being in so many Phase Four projects and he said something like “I don’t think of it as Phase Four, I think of it as Phase Wong”
Whether it’s a concept further expanded upon in the show we’ll see, but there is a joke in the first teaser that directly references this idea.
I have a feeling that going forward any new Daredevil/Jessica Jones/Luke Cage/Iron Fist/Punisher content will never directly, explicitly reference the Netflix shows nor will it contradict them. They’ll forever exist in the limbo space that will drive Sam insane.
FWIW James Gunn has said on twitter that neither he or Suda are involved with this, nor were they even told it was happening until the news came out.
“The Red Daggers served as an exposition dump that honestly didn’t feel like it really told us anything.”
I’m guessing we’ll see her again, Thunderbolts would make sense - if not somewhere else like Black Widow 2. I wouldn’t be surprised if her personality is more in line with the comics version now that she’s been free of mind control for 2 years (if she was dusted) or 8 years (if she wasn’t).
There’s a few more examples of MCU heroes with living, loving families...
