She’s definitely not gone, in an odd move for Marvel (since they’re so tightlipped) they actually announced long ago that “Geraldine” is not Teyonah Parris’s real name in the show. Since it appears you don’t know I won’t spoil it, but safe to say her story is not nearly over. There are two other returning MCU minor

Did they change it or did Stephen just get it wrong? The word “sword” has yet to be uttered in the show so far, much less the acronym explained. Unless Stephen has seen more episodes early for review I don’t see how we could know that the W was changed from world to weapon.

My theory based on shaky evidence. Vision’s job being vague is definitely a reference to the undefined jobs of characters in that era of TV, but I think it’s not *just* a reference. I think he’s unwittingly working for AIM and maybe Mr. Hart or the salesman in the ads is George Tarleton?

I remember someone in the comments of the first Endgame trailer was furious that Marvel spoiled their own movie by showing Scott Lang & Tony Stark on Earth. I could never parse whether they were trolling or not, but it seemed like genuine anger.

A: Who won the 1976 gold medal in the men’s decathlon?

B: Caitlyn Jenner

A: But isn’t Caitlyn a woman? How did she compete in the men’s competition?

B: Caitlyn is transgender.

I haven’t played Destiny so I can’t say this for certain, but the problem I initially see with using Blades in the Dark as a template is the way combat is handled doesn’t feel like it would work with something that’s such a combat heavy IP.

If you’ve got it sitting there you should give it a shot, the 8-10 hour campaign is excellent and the perfect length for a rental. The core gameplay combat loop is a lot of fun (think Batman Arkham Lite, not quite as deep as that series, but basic premise is there and it feels good) and the characters all feel

This is the first real service game I’ve attempted to dive into. I picked it up a few weeks after launch - once I beat the campaign I’ve kept my play time to 3-4 hours a week and I’m still having a blast.

Funny, I thought Trump being in office meant the PC police lost and we get to say whatever we want without consequence! Oh, or is it only white people get to say racist shit without consequence? Or maybe everyone else needs tougher skin and to not to get offended by words, but you’d better watch what you say to *ME*

Dan has always had a bit of a blind spot when it comes to monogamy imo, but this is shockingly bad advice. His attitude towards what I’ll generously call “non-consensual polyamory” has usually always been “what the other partner doesn’t know won’t hurt them” - which is essentially what his advice to this LW was, but

It’s so interesting following the reviews/recaps here and on io9... I think every episode since the show returned from break have had opposite opinions. Every one that Alex hates Rob loves and vice versa. And they both make good arguments for what they like and what they don’t.

It’s getting really fucking old seeing anyone who isn’t Bernie Sanders or AOC being called “shadow Republicans” or anything similar. I think Buttigieg is a classic craven politician - he plays “the game” and kisses the asses that historically need kissing to make a name for yourself, but calling him anything close to

I suppose the use of bolded words and caps lock could have portrayed more emotion than you intended. I agree with you that the guy is overreacting and is more in the wrong than the right on this one.

That’s not the argument Murry made. Murry attacked the LW for calling his kink a need using a strict definition of “need” being something required to live. The LW is definitely being overdramatic and I’m not defending him - Dan’s advice to take a breather and let life settle is good advice... but attacking someone for

Damn! I was really starting to look forward to this one. I wonder how seriously they’re going to take making sure it’s locked down and secure for six months. Gotta think there’s a non-zero risk of it leaking if too many people have access to where it’s stored.

It’s obviously not a need like food or water, but nothing is. If his wife had lost all interest in plain old vanilla sex and the LW wrote in to Dan saying “My need of sex is being unmet and I’m afraid it’s going to end my marriage if we don’t find a solution” would you have had this strong of a reaction? Maybe need

I have a newfound respect for our 21 year old drinking age after visiting Vancouver last weekend. Sat in a pub next to a group of 6-8 kids who couldn’t have been older than 19 and they were losing their goddamned minds. Everyone looks back on their early drinking days with embarrassment, but whoo-boy I haven’t seen

Of all people on the show Judith should know better! Growing up in this world she *knows* that when a human dies you need to follow up by destroying the brain. Even if the bullet did kill Beta she should still know she needs a head wound unless she wants a zombie wandering around inside her house.

It’s definitely grown to be a large cast... Barry, Iris, Joe, Frost, Cisco, Wells, Ralph, Cecile, Kamilla, Allegra, and now I assume Chester and Sue will be featured frequently going forward. 12 characters is a lot, but it’s close to what Legends juggles with 11 (Sara, Ray, Mick, Nate, Constantine, Charlie, Ava, Zari,

It feels like Team Flash hasn’t been a team in a long time. I think they definitely took the criticism of a season long single villain arc to heart except instead of splitting the season into multiple smaller arcs they just seemingly gave every character their own independent plot.
