I didn't realize Michelin summer compounds were so crappy.
Ah, Mercedes. They're all over the south bay.
110 and 10 during rush hour is good for prototypes but obviously very rarely. I'm spotted Porsche and Hyundai a couple of times there.
Looks just like Chrsyler 200 prototype...
Except not because the guides wear out and the chain starts to rattle, which eventually will lead to a skipped tooth. Timing chain kits run from $1200-$4200.
Lol why are people scared of ODBII? There's nothing to it.
Basically this for any Audi with the 4.2L V8.
Oh I thought you meant final gear as in final drive. You mean tall 6th gear. Yeah, that would help but it would be mismatched so you would have to rev the shit out of 5th.
That would require all the gears changed though. If the gearbox stayed the same, I'm sure computer chair enthusiasts would bitch and moan even more about the slow 0-60 times. They already do that.
The car really needs a 7MT like the Corvette and the 8AT that's in the IS350.
It doesn't matter. The gear spread and final drive on this car is biased towards better acceleration and not fuel economy. The gear spread is very small and the final drive is very low. This means highway cruising is at 3000 rpm or above. Not good for fuel economy. It can still get between 25 and 30 mpg combined with…
It's been 2 years since the car came out and you expect a facelift? Seriously? This isn't the Impreza that is easy to redo every few years.
Gearing, how does it work?
TIL what the VW community has known for ages
It's definitely going to take awhile, like 4 more years at least.
Counterpoint: These 'sport modes' (in some cases) allow consumers to experience vehicles beyond the limits of homologation regulations without having to swap hardware that might not pass their next DMV inspection. I guess that's kind of cool.
Power button does something though, even if you don't notice it. It makes the accel pedal more sensitive.
That's not true. That's just what you think they do.
E90 M3 has settings to change steering wheel feedback.
