for all the pretentious theatre kids in the bar, that walking and walking and walking in order to form a circle within a circle in the dump gave me for real horrible flashbacks to every Viewpoints exercise.

I think it's interesting too! I am usually not this sensitive to it. Maybe the premise of the show, which encourages uncertainty of what you see, encourages doubt and skepticism and questioning, put me in the frame of mind to look closer at the people and question the motives of those identifying themselves as the

(she wanted more thought put in to what message it told by a mutant story's images)

that's a good question. Superhero shows and mutant shows in particular I think speak in metaphors and coded language, even if they don't choose to. (If that makes sense). So their choices of casting and framing mean more than another story's might. The final moments stating (paraphrasing from memory) - you are not

Someone probably pointed this out already, but that final image of a white blonde older lady, a white blonde lady, and a white blonde guy being the three main superheroes together was a little disconcerting. I went to sleep last night thinking "that's neat that there are two womenz in lead roles with powers!" and woke

I rewatched a few episodes from season 1, and was surprised that they didn't quite hold up as well as I thought they would. (EDIT: I think they're great episodes - but this is using the judging everything by it's "replay" value mode, which is probably unfair…?). There's something a little Battlestar Galactica about

the way Rebecca said Greg's name at the end broke my heart and i'd just finished duct taping it back together with this sparkle duct tape that is mostly decorative and really should not even be called duct tape. Sigh.

(also just noticed Rebecca is whistling the Santa Ana winds song when she gets on the elevator, which I guess helps clarify it's in her head.) Also just realized I'm gonna end up rewatching every episode for easter eggs now…

(it says coach)
(but "church" would've been funnier :))
(i'm rewatching it like a crazy at the moment)

so wait - at the beginning of the episode, Euros got a phone call from Moriarty? What?

::sob::

It stuck out when Nathaniel said he couldn't remember anyone's name in the office (other than Paula's) and then almost immediately name checked Josh (without Rebecca saying his name first).
Do you think he really followed her to the restaurant? Or at least asked for that table?
I thought the excuse for getting rid of

The most moving moment from this whole season so far was Olivia bravely going in to hold Judith. That affected me (maybe cuz i'm a mom of a kid judith's age) more than anything else. An ordinary person doing something extraordinary. Their complete non-reaction to her death and then subsequent end of an 80s movie

maybe someday we'll look back and see this season was amazingly prescient. and important. and reflects exactly where we are as a nation and just how boring and tedious and awful this struggle we're in really is.
but - if this is a mirror, do you really need to look in a mirror while something horrible and obvious is

i just reenacted that whole last scene with my husband and cats. i've determined they were either agreeing to go walk inside and eat ice cream sandwiches. or that was supposed to have text but they ran over their word quota. it felt like the end of the goonies?

quickly made it either alien or DNA. it was like scully wnated me to drink.

watching this now. drinking every time someone says "alien." weeeeeeeeee.

when did the doctor get that confession dial?
was he put into it and then it's been passed around through the millennia? the…billenia? i'd like to see a little animated retelling of all the places that confession dial has been….did it end up on gallifrey for some reason in the middle of no where? was it put there? has

i almost died of gasping at the end of this. but, well - at one point are there so many skulls that he just hops casually out of that window onto them? or…before that falls crashing into a mountain of skulls instead of diving? i mean was he like one skull away? how deep does water need to be to survive that fall into
