Yes but just because some white people appropriate doesn’t mean every time a white person cooks something other than chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper, it’s appropriation. I think it’s fair to say some people have a chip on their shoulder and a pathological need to be offended by fucking everything.

Interesting question. Nothing I asserted or suggested in my comment, though. Not part of my point at all.

Same here. I tried the blue, green and the orange oils from their line and they wrecked my skin. The green one smells like unwashed ass. Its awful.

Well, that escalated quickly.

It’s a heavier moisturizer-I would only use it for dry skin most of the year unless you’re finding yourself dry in the winter. Even combo and normal skin might find it pore-clogging. It’s a totally wasteful product though, Cerave cream does the same work for way less money and has less irritants.

Sephora should stop seeking their stuff IMO, or a tad the very least disable reviews for SR for a few months.

Oh no, but I still swear by SR’s good genes, so I’ll slather it on tonight. Is this Sunday Riley herself signing off? That’s one secret I’ll never tell.

I think she’s just making the point that that Bernie shouldn’t get ALL the credit for CHIP, because he may have fought for it, but it wasn’t his plan.

Wow this is a mean spirited fucking thread no matter how you slice it. I’m running away now.

Agreed. AOC often talks like her allies (democratic socialists, I guess?) are the first to take on these really big fights, when she’s standing on the shoulders of others. It’s not just that Hillary Clinton deserves credit for CHIP. It’s that CHIP was the compromise position after Hillary was unsuccessful in getting

Yes - and I’m not shitting on him, personally, as an indolent college activist. I’m sure he was cool in college. My complaint is more that he benefits from really male version of left-wing politics that’s morally self-aggrandizing and proudly impractical. Plus, when his supporters dismiss Hillary as a corporate schill

Yeah, it’s pretty hilarious that this site thinks that this was some altruistic move of principle, instead of a cynical play by AOC to get some of those Bernie voters (email addresses and mailing lists), when Bernie ultimately retires, loses or croaks. She wants to assume his mantle and she’s not even shy about it.

Fine, as long as she doesn’t pull some bullshit when Warren is the eventual nominee.

Those who believed Ocasio-Cortez would endorse Elizabeth Warren over Sanders thought that Ocasio-Cortez valued political calculation, polls, and a friendly lunch date over her principles. But if this endorsement and her short congressional tenure have taught us anything, it’s that Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t do something

#hateanddarkness is indeed a much more badass hashtag

Hard agree, except... she said #loveandlight, so....

This. I got picked on enough.  I can’t imagine how awful it would have been if we had social media back then.  I cringe at the thought.

There is a scene in the movie Cake where Jennifer Aniston scrubs her face for what seems like a very long time, especially in a movie, and I think about it almost every time I exfoliate my face and wonder if I’m scrubbing it for too long, too short, or just the right amount of time. I mean, Jennifer’s skin is amazing,

I am so infinitely glad that  when I was a teenager (a) social media didn’t exist and (b) I wasn’t famous enough for anyone to give a shit what I did.

Can we leave this child alone and not take her down like Jezebel did with Anne Hathaway, Taylor Swift, and all the other woman this website has gone after for no apparent reason.
