"polyamorous relationship with Nick" - well, there's that whole Julievette killed Nick's mother thing.

Watching The Expanse is a bit of a mental exercise for me, since I'm currently reading the (6th?) novel. And I'm falling in love with Belter lingo. I kinda wish we could invent a Nerdish patois, composed of a combination of Belter and Cloud Atlas lingo, yay? Sa sa?
Minor quibble: someone should have moved the car and pulled the gate closed at the medical facility. Why broadcast that someone has broken in?
That explains the cat.
A besetting sin. Sigh.
There's one thing I suspect the show gets right. In almost every scene, my first reaction is, "Geezus, I bet that stunk to high heaven in real life.
So - he wakes up in three days and realizes that Christ's "rising from the dead" was a actually a coma that he came out of once they took him down. Hope they do it. :)
Look on the face of the cop with the bomb strapped to his back: Curses! Foiled again!
or Totally Bummed.
A couple questions: 1. If it was the changes wrought on the Hindenberg episode that made Lucy's sister disappear, won't they have to go back to let that happen in order to get her sister back? 2. If the history we all know is actually one planned by Rittenhouse, why are they trying to "save" it? And, okay, one more:…
LOL. Maybe you didn't read the part where I said I was 74 - slow on the uptake with all that crap these days. Thank gawd. :)
It could be a theme - I suspect something of the like over on The Young Pope, but I could be a bit off on that. Watching the last one tonight.
This *season*? I thought it was a one-off. I'm almost expecting to find an implication in the end that Lenny is some sort of "second coming." He's a bit retro, because those are the rules he remembers from an earlier life, but he is slowly learning a new way of salvation. Every time I see him with his parents, I think…
Thankee, thankee. I can remember being certain, at age 15, that I would be either dead or insane before I was thirty. If I can believe my friends and family, it seems I'm not dead.
I wasn't that much bothered by the "white savior" routine and understood Barrett's clapping. There wasn't an African king or prince who could (or would) do anything to stop the slave trade. It was only in the places of power in England and America that there was any hope for stopping the trade or the practice. Barrett…
I said to the housebuddy, if that star chart turns out to show a certain "star in the east" (see splinter of the true cross, shroud of turin combo), I'm outta here. As it is, I still have to wonder about March 24th. A second coming? When is Rosalee due? Happy Valentine's Day, everybody. I'm 74 today.
And if there are this many small communities in the Alexandria area, how many are there in the country as a whole? In the world? I want a map!
I just started reading the 6th novel. Loving the show!
"The Islamophobia seems even more pronounced than usual," Multiple dittos - is every single Muslim character suspect in some way?
On another tangent, I'm beginning to make a collection that I call: Lines I don't ever want to hear again in a TV show (with no expectation whatsoever than anyone will listen to me. There…
Thing one: I forget. Is one of the terrorists from one of the 7 countries? And are the writer's having sleepless nights now because of what they have (unwittingly?) corroborated?
Thing two: So why am I here? Because Eowen. Forth Eorlingas!
It's in the car?
