I'm with you, Mike. There were things I always loved about Letterman, but I grew tired of his show and stopped watching years ago. And I love Colbert, but I assumed that I would not be a regular watcher of an hour show at 11:30. But it will be on in 8 minutes, so I think I have to get ready to watch it again. :)

He felt the gun under his coat?

"Citoyen! To the barricades!" French Revolution.

Just like Mike, I'm going to be disappointed beyond all patience if Coco doesn't turn out to be a shill for some yet to be discovered entity. And then there's this other dropped story - or did I miss it - whatever happened to Fet's parents? I've been counting on him going back at least to check on them and lately I

My single most favorite thing to hate - well, at least right up there with "Hey, I just figured the whole thing out. Meet me someplace else in two hours." Ya know, just meet 'em at the morgue. It'll save the city money picking up your corpse.

Yeah, they probably did. Assholes. :)

I'm always pissed off when they fucking leave the food. Or skip the dinner. I'm still missing that coney stew Sam was cooking up in LOTR when they were captured by Faramir. That was just plain cruel.

You're right. I'm wrong. Just checked with the daughter, who also remembers paddles. If you listen real hard, you can hear her chortling in the background.

Anybody else think the hospital knows what's happening? Otherwise why try to get the old guy downstairs without a little CPR or paddle work first? And what exactly did junkie kid see through that hospital room door - guy's head lying on the bed and wife patting his hair? Nurse says later there had been two deaths on

I don't think the character of Elliot believes it either, and now that the operation has gone south, I wonder if the conversation with Bill will haunt him in any way. My daughter's partner suggested Mr. Robot to me, so I'm only now starting to catch up. I'll watch Ep.6 tonight.

I'm liking this series, but have issues with the premises. Can anyone else here think of a time when blowing something up, destroying something, changed the world for the better? I can't. The hopeful part of me hopes that Elliot discovers that too.

And yet, I'm always a little bothered by these assumptions that people who live alone with their cats and have menial jobs - or are waiters in their 50's - necessarily have worthless lives, in their own estimation as well as that of the pricks they have to deal with every day. And yes, I wanted to give Bill a hug too.

Thank you all. I was sure that was what had happened, so I kept scanning through the comments for confirmation. Now I can go to bed knowing I wuz rite. :) And yeah, this finale could have been a lot more satisfying, but hey. I'm watching Zoo, so I have no room to complain.

Thanks, Nancy B. I was just apologizing for not remembering George asking Trey if he had done it. This is a fun site when that happens-we don't always remember things precisely or we see the same thing but someone else has a different interesting take on it. Actually, if I hadn't forgotten, I never would have posted

Yes, mea culpa on the "George did it" statement. I'd forgotten that he'd asked Trey if Trey had done it. So maybe the doc did it - was he from a locally prominent family that supported Foulkes? The thot plickens. And maybe not even the writers know for sure yet. :)

Excellent! I thought I saw that too, but didn't think of it right off. Playing the old lady memory card here. Feels like we're on the same page, anyway. So it's still a whodunnit, but with no need to hurry to a solution. The journey is what it's really all about.

Good point. I'd forgotten about that. The Doctor? You can see I'm thinking anybody but Daniel. Daniel does seem to recall choking somebody, but I just can't see him murdering her. Something else happened. Only the writers know.

I'm not at all convinced that Daniel did it. I'm *almost* convinced that George did it. Otherwise why does he kill himself? If Trey did it, and George is ready to fess us, why didn't Trey kill him? Why does George do it? Everybody involved in the rape is an unreliable narrator. And why doesn't Trey tell Carl that

I thought it was disquietingly interesting that Julie begged Teddy not to tell anybody, and he never said that he didn't. He did say never to let your buddies give you a hard time about being a virgin - which says to me that he did boast about it, because otherwise how would he get them to stop giving him a hard time.

Yay, Fargo! Hope looms.
