$60/hour for steel holy fuck thats' cheap. Here in Alberta it's $150/hr so pray you never need to go to the body shop.

I just bought a pair of those 2 days ago.

I used to work in the wash bay at a Pontiac/GMC/Caddy dealer in New-Brunswick.

I recently took a trip to the Philippines and thats how they do it over there. They do also have some stand alone dealerships but I thought this was the best thing since sliced bread.

Yup!

I have the 400ci and I plan on doing the same and getting rid of all the emissions stuff. A cam, 4barrel and duel catless exhaust should help too. I might not get to do all that stuff this year as for now I'm working on restoring the suspension. but eventually I will make this into a decent performer.

I'm currently doing the same on a 1979 Lincoln Continental. Except I have a 3 car garage. Good thing since I have to park the car sideways across the 3 bays in order to have enough room to work on it.

I'm pretty sure nothing is illegal in NZ. Enjoy yourself! Can't say I'm not jealous.

I'd love myself and sweet R31. I wonder how much they sell for?

I agree the R32 is too mainstream (maybe because I'm canadian and have been seeing them on the streets for 10 years already).

all stuff that is down the pipeline already. I just got the car 3 weeks ago so I haven't done much with it yet. but a cam and 4 barrel are an absolute must in this thing.

Not really. I had no idea what I had. In my mind I had a base model Continental. But a fellow Lincoln enthusiast told me otherwise. I then looked it up and he was right I did in fact have a model that's a little rarer than most other continentals. Not because it was anything great but because that it was a stupidly

Yes the Towncar was a higher trim level and it had the opera windows. Mine is the Williamsburg edition(one baby step above the base model)

No it's also a '79. I wish it was a 77 with the 460. For 79 you could only get the 400. A whopping 159hp yahoooo!

I'd rather tow a small 13' scamp behind my Lincoln if I was wanting to do some travelling. I cannot grasp the concept of spending as much as a house for a smaller mobile house. I've grown out of tenting so this is the next best thing a shelter you don't need to assemble that has a dry bed.

Are you gonna take this thing to Virginia to properly test it out?

I'm glad someone else thinks like I do.

I'll have to say I do like to sport exterior rather than the chrome trim. so this would be the version I'd buy if I was buying one.

AWESOME! I'm actually excited for chinese cars. "normal" cars are getting too expensive. if I can get a chinese car for half of what a "normal" car is then I'm all for it. As long as it past safety regulations(I know this will be the hardest part) and comes with some sort of warranty & dealer network then I'm all for
