Birch is so damn good it’s a crime she didn’t have a better career and, sadly, much of the blame falls on her father slash manager who apparently is a gigantic fucking creep and did massive, nearly irreparable damage to her career and reputation.

It’s better to feel, if you can handle it, but it’s a tall order if you are thoroughly traumatized. I really enjoyed this movie - Watching it convinced me that Scarlett Johansson is a really talented actress.

Dito for The Children. Saw that one at a Fantasy Film Festival. The little brats are so nasty that the whole cinema exploded in applause after a particularly gruesome death scene of one of the little moppets. Which felt very wrong in a way, but was testament to how efficient the movie is in sticking to its premise.

I assumed the twist ending to be that there was no toxic cloud, and it was just a way for the U.K. government to purge a pile of citizens.

If the movie doesn’t end by just suddenly editing in the end of that one Treehouse of Horror about the fog that turns people inside out, it just wasn’t worth the effort.

Eh, I’ll just stay home and watch The Goodies’ “Earthanasia” episode instead. Got to get to those Harrods closing down sales!

The best joke of 2020 was in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle podcast We Have to Stop Talking About TMNT on CBB, where New York is declared “the fifth turtle.”

All you New York voters reap what you sow. You got more Andrew Cuomo and more Sex and the City. Congratulations.

You’re reviewing this movie with the clear presumption that otherkin are social pariahs, but is that the point that the MOVIE wants to make?

I saw Rob Zombie’s 31 (I heard it was insane... it was not) and had the same feeling. The “victims” were all so awful, I thought there was going to be some twist like they deserved to die, or the game was in reverse or something. I was actively rooting for the bad guys. It would have been a pretty cool twist on the

Your likely overcritical review lists the following cast:

GLOW is literally the only thing I can think of that treated otherkin with any sincerity and didn’t make me roll my eyes and wince.

When a film is utterly clueless about how loathsome its characters are, the result can be an unintentional jewel.

So Amazon made a game where humans are driven to maddening amounts of labor to justify their meager earnings as automation slowly destroys them, huh

This... is nothing new. Anyone who ever played World of Warcraft will remember the Chinese bots all over the place, people under the map teleporting to nodes etc...

Came here (without bothering with the slideshow) to complain about bullshit “best of” things on November 30 (bad enough the second half of December is filled with them, but pretending art doesn’t happen in an entire month instead of just acknowledging staff take vacations is silly), but based on the comments, the list

Who?

Its weird that I’ve never heard of him..at some point he must have done something note worthy to begin to grow his channel, or he must be really good at some game, or funny, or a character, or the beneficiary of being ‘THE guy on THE new game’ (Ninja / Fortnite)...yet nothing he did was Kotaku news worthy, until he

Wow, these all look terrible. Thanks.

Using the “Best of...” umbrella for this slideshow is a choice.
