while undoubtedly true, MTA is publicly funded and subsidized with taxes... our fares cover less than half of the operating cost, and don’t even begin to cover maintenance cost... apparently 16% of the revenue goes to paying off MTA debt... MTA blames elected officials...

i’ve got similar tracks... gentle in my 02 escalade... not so much in my 2010 camaro ss.... but it’s not very downhill and more level
I used to jump these railroad tracks in my 02 escalade and h2 hummer... they always turned out fine and you could get about .5 second of hang time... But when I tried it in my 5th gen camaro... it really bottomed out and I thought I broke something... but nothings come up.

to put in perspective, just how much brake that is for that little bugger... the 3850 lb. Camaro SS of the following year, came with the brembo four-pots, up front, but with 14" rotors... a $5600 upgrade from the v6 brake kit, and are described as, more than adequate. In fact, I know from personal experience how good…
