I don’t think Trump can put together a string of thoughts coherent enough to be a true racist. I don’t believe he even thinks, “I hate that person because....” The dingaling spouts off at the mouth about every group under the sun in an uncontrollable fashion like a psychotic whale with an overejaculative spout.

Exactly! Trump’s an idiot, but calling him a “racist” every time he opens his foolish mouth is kind of like calling Walmart workers “slaves.” It winds up devaluing the impact of racism.

The police department here in Austin has a very, very good record arresting rapists and gathering enough evidence to send them to prison. I know some cities suck at this, which...well....sucks.

I said better, not perfect. As bad as many municipal police departments are, they probably have a slightly better track record of investigating and collecting evidence of a rape than college police departments.

I’ve never been convinced that Trump particularly hates Latinos, women, Blacks, Jews, gays or anybody else. Most likely, Trump is simply sociopathic, narcissistic, insecure, confused, and empty.

Interestingly, George Stephanopoulis has done just that, many times with Trump, but it simply does no good. Trump just keeps on talking until the commercial break, giving George no time to respond to his lies a second time. Trump essentially filibusters his way out of answering hard questions. Wait until the debate-

Rape victims would probably receive more justice if they went to the actual police, rather than simply reporting their assaults to the university. By now, I think we can all agree that universities, for whatever reason, have too much at stake to be able to judge these cases objectively. They see their students as a

Well, the good thing about the folks at Morning Joe is that they are pundits, rather than reporters. So, Barnicle and Micah can both call Trump a liar and and idiot. Cooper can’t do that without losing his job.

Any administrator who says those words should be fired immediately.

I’ve heard Anderson Cooper question Trump on the silly things he says many times. But, objective is also allowing your subject to speak and to let the people decide whether or not he’s an idiot. Particularly if there’s limited time for an interview.

100% correct. It’s just a tad narrow-minded and perhaps bigoted for people to ask, “How can a black woman be the campaign spokeswoman for Trump?” or, “How can Jared Kushner, an orthodox Jew, support his father in law?” or “How can women work on the Trump campaign?”

People like Anderson Cooper have a difficult job here. On the one hand, Trump is such an off-the-charts joke, that it’s insulting to intelligence itself to treat him seriously. On the other hand, Anderson Cooper does have an obligation to appear “objective,” which likely drives him nuts.

I agree- I found this part very confusing.

She’s talking about long term solutions she knows will never, ever be accepted by more than 10% of the population. Pure bullshit!

Since Trump has never opened his books, all we know is that his dad had roughly $200,000,000 in New York real estate in 1970 that Trump eventually took over from him. We don’t know if Trump beat the S&P index during this time. We don’t know if Trump actually made money building skyscrapers, or if he would have

What’s perverted about a swingers club?

That’s what’s so great about this ad. For something that seems so transparently benign, there is a political ambiguity that makes you scratch your head.

Brilliant! Anyone who has a major problem with this ad has no sense of humor.

Houston has an okay scene, but nothing like South Florida or California. Could be a lot better

It actually sounds as if it might be a combination high end lifestyle (swinger) club where there’s a major dancing component, in which case women really would have all the power.
