The press had a bit of a catch 22 during the election. Ignore Trump, who’s a presidential candidate and one of the biggest news stories of the past three decades, or report on Trump and give him free publicity.

Try not to stress too much. The difference between Trump and any dictator throughout history is that in our case we’re able to watch him like a hawk, literally his every single move. And, the opposition is public. Hell, even the CIA is leaking information on Trump to members of the media.
