I'm not anti-Ridgeline, but the Frontier V6 crew cab starts around $23k. The Ridgeline starts at $30k for the base. And the Frontier gets better gas mileage with a more powerful v6.

"it sounds as though they could have avoided the whole mess by buying the guy a mobility scooter and maybe a more accessible office and desk."
I drive a pickup, I would have left 11's right over those cones/that guys foot.
A lot of stations around here only offer ethanol-free premium, so there's a big jump from midgrade to premium.
I filled my truck up this morning for <$50 ($2.699/gal, 18.5 gallons). Wasn't worth the detour to save <$1 by filling up for $2.65.
Gotta love SC having the 3rd lowest gas taxes in the US! I work in GA, I always fill up in SC though (where I live).
$2.65 for regular, North Augusta, SC.
When I lived in Germany, work was only a few kilometers away, and my 49cc Peugeot Zenith made the most of them. It only took two gallons every couple weeks, and nobody ever asked for a ride!
+1 for napping. I would sleep like a baby on my way to work. And out-of-town meetings? Hello Mr. Sandman!
How does the Taco V6 compare to the Frontier? I know it's less powerful, but it's a little lighter too.

I expect my mileage to go up a little now that it's cooling off. My AC has been on constantly since I bought it in May.
I think GM should have used the 4.3 V6 from the Silverado in the twins, more torque, similar fuel economy.
I average 19-20, but mine's a 2WD SV V6.
Yes, and my 2WD V6 is quite tail-happy with it off. I find it to be very unobtrusive during daily driving, doesn't feel like it really hurts performance, just prevents excessive wheel spin.
The VQ40 makes more torque (low end/peak) than the Tacoma or Colorado.
I average 19-20mpg in my '14 (SV crew cab V6 2WD). It's not great mileage, but a lot better than my coworkers with full-sized trucks get.
My '14 Frontier came with four doors, a V6, heated seats, backup camera, Bluetooth, power windows/locks, etc... and it's stickered well under $30k.
Can we agree that maybe the FA and the 1SG did nothing improper or disruptive, and the whole thing may have been blown way out of proportion by some well-meaning 1st class passengers?
Well "relatively belligerent" doesn't sound like "courteously declined request"... which would have been the professional way to handle the situation. I only started replying in defense of the soldier because there's ZERO indication that he felt entitled or caused a scene. He was getting crucified (here) for asking…
