To be fair, Microsoft has made it clear that they plan on releasing first party games on Xbox and PC in the future, so it seems safe to assume that the inevitable Halo 6 will be on both platforms.

Microsoft already dipped their toes into the Halo on PC scene with Halo 2, and they haven’t bothered since (with the mainline series, anyways). I’d bet that it didn’t go very well, and people are way overestimating what the demand is.
