Calm down there, Satan.
Calm down there, Satan.
The key is to have only started playing Destiny this month. No malaise for me, I’m not even level 40 yet!
I fucking love Destiny, and haven’t been so into a game in quite some time. I am suffering from Destiny malaise in that I haven’t even really played in a few weeks, though my clan is active and we just recruited some fresh blood, and I haven’t regularly raided since early December.
Ladies and gentlemen, the current state of the American driver. I for one welcome our autonomous overlords.
Agree. Alpha made me a customer too. Excited for beta.

So you just want a CoD remake then. The point of this game is that it’s an amalgamation of several genres. Ah yes, shooting an alien in the head is somehow less impactful than shooting a human in the head...because the alien’s brain is in its foot? lol It’s not a RTS, but it plays like one - I’m excited for it.
By the same token, if you take a single shot and you’re dead yourself, then that just really actually sucks as a player. Given that the CPU enemies are clearly modelled to match the experience of playing other people and those other people would really rather not have a game over in this massive multiplayer game after…
I just could not get over the fact that I’m shooting someone point blank with a shotgun in the head four times and they’re at half-health.
The alpha turned me into a customer. I love the cover system, the dynamic way you could point at a place of cover and hold a button to get there.
It’s weird, but well, it’s an RPG. That’s how RPGs work. Things do indeed get weird when you start translating RPG stats into shooters. Though if you could one shot someone with a shotgun or a headshot. There is no real challenge there. There could be no gear progression. Gear progression is clearly a focus here, as…
That’s what the Beta is for! :)

Soon:
I agree. The cheesy ass fist bump before fist bumps were cool ending.
Actually, Robot Jox is a shitty movie, but I get what you mean. It’s a so-bad-it’s-good what if the the Russians were still in power in the year 2400 movie.
But Sony capturing on nostalgia may seem like a good thing but it’s really just fluff. Where’s the innovation. If they want to remake every PS1 and PS2 game, that’s great, and it would be wonderful to have them, but I purchased a new console for new games.
Your idea of PS Plus being better is based in 2014 PS Plus and not 2015 PS Plus. Xbox games with Gold started off slow, but is giving out great games every month.
I have to say, Timothy Dalton in this film is one of the finest performances of any actor ever on screen.
