For a second, i thought Jack Black lost a bunch of weight.

“all that said, it changes nothing about the shoddy logic of your complaint with the movie currently being discussed. +3 pts. for the deflection attempt, though.”

lol. The thing is, i don’t care one way or another what you think, because it’s a movie. I don’t mean that insulting, but in something like this, it’s true. I

Did Robinson’s mother put a lightsaber in his hand and teach him how to use it with lethal skill? or fling boulders through the air? or tap into other people’s minds?? He’s not just teaching people to look both ways before crossing the speeder lanes. Luke’s got to know if he screws up, lots of people could die. With

Those people definitely aren’t science fiction heroes, then. Then Kirk might as well called it quits after the Wrath of Khan, Ripley should’ve said, ‘Have fun at LV-426. Write me when you get there!’, Sarah Conner calls it quits and retires to the beach after the 1st Terminator, and so on and so forth. Are you saying

Thanks for sharing?

Psst. It’s a movie. The entire thing, like most movies are riddled with shoddy logic. They’re meant to be fun, not taken so seriously as humanity likes to do to ruin everything.

Had he done a better job, things might’ve turned out differently...If a teen goes nutty and seeks out galactic domination, do we not look towards their parent or guardian for a bit of that responsibility? Luke’s hands definitely are spotless in this whole thing. Even if it’s 10% or 20%, he gave him the tools to go out

If yoda jumped off a bridge, would it be ok for all the jedi to jump off a bridge? You know, one that they just wouldn’t land safely on the ground from. Besides, Yoda essentially lost against Palpatine and was quickly getting overwhelmed, so he bolted to avoid certain death.

So you create a shiny new sith, unleash him on the galaxy, and then come to realization that it’s a revolving door, so why bother? You know, you could always clean up your mess that’s slaughtering everyone, first, theeeeen retire.

Yeah, i think after a bunch of planets went kablooey because the one best person in the galaxy to stop it was on vacation, that might be more late to the party than picking yourself up.

Dear good guy fleet,
When you see a very large beam of death heading your way from light years away, even if it might not be intended for you, just to be safe, it’s better to be elsewhere when it gets there.

Yep. Heroes fail, but when they do, they pick themselves up and do what needs to be done. Not so much on running and hiding in a cave of self pity while saying, ‘it sucks to be you.’ to the rest of the galaxy while letting billions bite it.

lol. I’m an optimist. I still believe there’s shaky 3%-5% chance that people could still turn things around.

What’s worse? People are forced to learn and evolve, or the chain of catering just keeps continuing as we watch the population get worse and worse and worse with each passing year?  It’s only one tiny issue in the bigger picture, but you’ve got to start somewhere. :)

I wonder if the next set of cars are going to go up by a couple million to recoup the cost of the booth. :X

We’ve got Comcast, AT&T, and Wide Open West over here. I’m actually considering giving Comcast another try after a decade or so. I currently have AT&T, but they, like everyone else, like to keep hiking up the price when they’re not really offering all that much, while Wide Open West has the worst setup i’ve ever seen.

Finally, someone making some sense in here. :D

It’s definitely a regional thing. The unfortunate part is after years and years of reading these, it seems to be a lot of regions. Mine included.

As someone who spends more time on the road than i’d like, i’ve seen plenty of people hit that car in this very situation or fly out of the lane and slam into the person next to them. 2tons of metal and battery can only stop so fast. Please, give me the ‘reduced risk of injury’ option on the way to ‘no risk’, any day.
