I haven't understood this idea from the moment it was announced: How is this supposed to work? Especially compared to the powerhouse that was The People vs. O.J. If you want a true crime story that's Katrina-adjacent, why not show Ray Nagin's fall from grace?

Different context though: This was being stagnated in the shadow of a S/O's rising star, Atlanta was just about being, as the bartender noted, "broke as fuck".

Where's Chauncey, Duck? Where's Chauncey?

There's a Gaston (character actor) that I witnessed while at Disney World a couple years ago. He was pretty thin but was hysterical because he had the mixture of cockiness and ridiculousness down pat. He was interacting with visitors outside of "Gaston's Tavern"and it was pretty funny. I saw that to say what made

Interestingly my brother told me the months ago that he's a Rappaport fan. I've always thought he seemed to be a bit of a poser.

"The Recession" is far and away Jeezy's best album, I had hopes that "Church in the Streets" would be a return. As an aside, I played "My President" every hour on the hour at work on the 19th.

Damn, that Ravenclaw quote tho…
How did you know, CEG, how?

That scene reminded me of the Synth reveal of Karen Voss in Humans when she pulls that blue bag out of her stomach

My thoughts as well. I perceived his plan as "these four people have the attributes I need", kinda like building a roster of terrible football players in Madden and having Blake Bottles as your starting QB…

Thanks for the book recommendation!

I caught that too

Last Monday's meatloaf and mashed potatoes are pretty good too.

And her snails…

I knew that line sounded familiar. Good catch.

This part sold the whole damn thing…

I just want to state that I'll happily become Catholic if my priest can be Father Brah, that man understands life:
"I try to see the good in everyone but if you think you're gonna survive an entire night with 70 year olds without being called 'Oriental', you're delusional"

In what dimension did The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air receive disdain or "kids these days"-style criticism? It was the literal launching pad for one of the biggest movie stars of the late 20th century…

Per WhoSampled: Isaac Hayes - "The Look of Love" from …To Be Continued 1970

They kinda buried that lede in the summary. Forget "Get over here", any adaptation that uses "Toasty" is alright in my book.
